We got our first win of the 2012 season at 311 speedway Saturday night. I want to take the time to thank my parents, family, crew, and all of sponsers for everything they do for me! We will be at 311 this Friday night for the crate show as part of the World of Outlaw race. Looking to back up our win with another one this weekend.
After successful days with Circle K at the Adam Marion Memorial and NSHS Special Olympics, the actual racing itself was quite frustrating. The distributor on the Circle K #9 went bad coming to take the green in qualifying. Hoping to turn things around, the Q1 TNT went back to Friendship Speedway for redemption. We qualified a 16.3 and the pole was a 16.0 which put us 8th on the starting grid. But once again in the early laps of the race, we ended up wrecked when a car spun in front of us with nowhere to go. We took the weekend off to prepare for next weeks test and tune at merritt raceway in merritt michigan, we will then start racing again on the 12th of may at merrit raceway.
This Friday we will be representing Circle K as we support the Special Olympics event at North Surry High School. On Saturday we plan to visit Wythe Raceway for their season opener. With two runner up finishes under our belt this season we are inching closer to getting back into victory lane. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
